Racks on Racks on Racks

Racks on Racks on Racks.

All I do is win, win, win.

Who run the world? Girls. Bey.

Can’t wear skinny jeans because my knots don’t fit.

Money in the bank, shawty what chu drank?

There are millions of songs that talk about having wealth, riches, the “good life”, and how singers/rappers live this life everyday (when they’re not frontin’, of course). They speak the “good life” over themselves in every song, every lyric, and many times, this is truly the life they live.

So why not for the believer?

Spiritual principles, like giving and receiving, power of life and death in the tongue, etc work for whomever decides to put them to use, even if you don’t understand the core of the principal.

Some of the richest people in the world use the giving and receiving principle (Luke 6:38) which is why they remain wealthy. They may not know that’s the spiritual principal at work for them, but it is.

The bible says that we can call things that are not as if they were (Romans 4:17) — don’t you think rappers and singers are doing just that? Rapper YC (Young Chris, who I’d never heard of prior to his hit song “Racks on Racks”) says over and over that he has money stacked on top of money. In just one half of his chorus he says “racks on racks on racks” 12 times. He’s speaking he has money on top of  money over his life 12 times in just ONE chorus.

T-Pain told the world that ALL he does is WIN. NO MATTER WHAT. He speaks that mantra over his life all day every day. And guess what? He’s doing just that. You may not like his music or his coonish ways, but that man has a successful career that, long after he’s done performing, will make him a very rich man.

While there’s such a debate over whether or not Christians should listen to secular music, you can’t deny the fact that people “in the world” are using the spiritual principles better than those who say they believe and follow Christ! They’re not afraid to proclaim that they’re winning, running the world, or have so much money that it can’t fit in their pocket — and many of them will say it even when it’s not true! Eventually, however, what they say will come to pass. It’s a spiritual law.

Note: Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Psalm 127:1
Nothing man builds lasts forever. And that’s all I have to say about that.

Know that when money, wealth, and excess resources are in the hands of the believer, it is to expand the kingdom of God. You do His work, and He’ll ensure you get what you want. Speak that you have racks on racks on racks! Speak that ALL YOU DO IS WIN NO MATTER WHAT! Over and over and over again… #clubbanger

Why are WE afraid to be as bold as them to speak things over our lives? We are the meek who inherit the earth! We should live the bold life, not afraid to be ruthless or even crazy in our pursuit of the life He said we should have.
